Introduction

The Vibrosaun is the result of a long and intensive study by a group of highly qualified people: a Medical Practitioner, a Chiropractor, an Osteopath, a Physiotherapist and a Design Engineer. It was the intent of this group to create a simple, economical and universal machine that would, as near as possible, simulate exercise without putting stress on the body. This has not only been achieved, but the benefits derived by the users of the Vibrosaun have been overwhelming.

How the Vibrosaun works

The vibration relaxes the muscles whilst the introduction of the heat dilates the blood vessels, thereby increasing the heart and pulse rate. This, in turn, increases the blood flow and intake of oxygen. The body cells use oxygen to burn up carbohydrates, such as starches, etc., and thence burn up the fat cells. It also accelerates the kidney function in the removal of lactic acids and body wastes.

The built-in stereophonic cassette plays a very realistic role in assisting relaxation by selecting a tape of suitable tempo, or even an auto-suggestive tape: it will be very beneficial to those suffering from stress, hypertension or acute anxiety.

The Vibrosaun combines sauna and vibration in a reclining position and simulates the effect of exercising or massage. The vibration is set to a frequency believed to be acceptable to the subconscious, therefore reducing stress by promoting mental and physical relaxation, particularly when combined with a suitable selection of music or therapeutic tapes through the built in cassette system. The vibrating couch allows the user to maintain a degree of muscle tone and fitness, in a gentle and soothing way.

The Vibrosaun

Provides the benefits of a sauna but without costly installation and alterations. It is a complete module, compact and as transportable as a piece of furniture: ideal for dwellers of units, flats and rented homes. Allows the user to relax with head outside the heating chamber. Hot air is not inhaled, thus protecting the nasal and bronchial passages. Heats quickly and does not require any preliminary warm-up time. The functions are pre-selected and controlled by a timing device, which operates when the machine is in use, therefore, saving power and running costs. Is clean and hygienic, requiring a minimum of maintenance, and comes in a selection of colours. Is used by hospitals, health and fitness clubs, chiropractors, beauty salons, physiotherapists, masseurs, sportsmen, gymnasiums and sports medicine clinics, the home, etc.

Features

Designed to be controlled from within the unit by the user, all controls for face built-in fan, heat, vibration and stereo cassette volume are located inside the lid behind the digital readout panel. The user may visually monitor the response whilst selecting the required settings.

The head is not enclosed and the built in fan in the headrest ensures a continual supply of fresh, cool negative ion-charged air. Therefore, the brain is not subjected to excessive heat. Toxic odours and hot air, which irritate bronchial complaints, are not inhaled. Hence, the user remains relaxed and more subjective to treatment. The vibrating bed top is set to a motion frequency that is believed to be acceptable to the subconscious. This, in conjunction with soothing music, is most important; it is generally accepted that if the brain is receiving favourable response at the moment of treatment, the natural healing process is more likely to be rapid and permanent.
